A unique experiential learning opportunity that partners corporate leaders with non-profit leaders.
What to Expect
This highly interactive program is a combination of theory, conversation, experiential learning supported by mentoring/coaching.
The first part of the program is focused on understanding yourself as a leader, your working style as well as your strengths. The theory and experiential learning in the first session highlights the difference between mentoring and coaching, and the importance of knowing how to effectively use both.
The second day of learning is an opportunity to check-in with the group, share your successes and challenges to learn from each other; the theory and conversation will be focused on Coaching Competencies.
The third learning day is a check-in as well as a wrap up for the program with the theory and conversation focused on the Mentoring Competencies.
The classroom learning is supported by coaching with a credentialed ICF Executive Coach and practice coaching between you and your program partner.
You will be working with a partner throughout this program, so commitment to the classroom/full day sessions is mandatory so both you and your partner take advantage of the learning opportunity.

Note: Days with an * are mandatory attendance as each participant is partnered with someone for the program and it’s critical everyone be in attendance. Lunch is included.

With the program being minimum 21 instructional hours, it does qualify for the Canada-Alberta Job Grant which covers more than 60% of your investment.
