Linda Maul, the Blue Collar Chick, works with organizations
who intend to become ‘employers of choice.’ She delivers
seminars, workshops and coaching for leaders in very industrial
settings. If they wear hard hats, boots and jeans, she’s
interested. Linda is the founder of Creating People Power Inc.,
a consulting and training company focused on reducing turnover
and improving recruitment initiatives in industry through developing
frontline supervisors and managers.
Linda grew up in a small
mining community and spent most of her career in mining, sales
and distribution, manufacturing
and personnel.
Her secret weapon has always been the ability to develop productive
relationships. She believes people, and particularly our front-line
leaders, are the key to organizational success.
Her experience
includes sales and sales management; a variety of leadership
roles and for the last ten years has worn every
hat
possible as a small business owner and entrepreneur. She’s
comfortable in an Executive Board Room or on site in her
safety boots and hard hat.
Linda is a member of the Society
for Human Resource Professionals,
the Institute for Global Ethics, the Canadian Association
of Professional Speakers, the Canadian Youth Business Foundation
and CINet.
