As project lead at Creating People Power, Michelle provides customized consulting and facilitated workshops. She is an accomplished speaker whose clients describe her as enthusiastic and energetic!
Since 2007 she has been working with clients from diverse industries across Alberta to help foster more respectful and psychologically safe workplaces. She facilitates thought provoking workshops on other topics related to corporate culture and leadership the engage participants in applying what they have learned. In 2018, in part due to her passion around mental health, Michelle became a CMHA Certified Psychological Health & Safety Advisor promoting wellness and mental health in our workplaces.
Although much of her expertise lies in conversations related to respectful workplaces (including review of legislation and the topics of harassment and bullying), Michelle has also participated in foundational Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training with a diverse set of clients ranging from construction and industrial contractors to lawyers and engineers.
Michelle has a way of fostering trust among participants so people feel safe having courageous conversations on topics that are sometimes awkward or difficult to discuss at work. Her real life examples provide context and inspiration for how people can adjust their own behaviours and become better business and community leaders.
